went to ligpo resort in san luis, batangas with sir eric go give and introductory dive session for some members of the 10th Squadron of the Philippine Coast Guard Auxiliary.

Nature Crap

joined the Environmental Chemistry class in a camping trip up some mountain in batangas. i believe the trip was meant to bring environmental awareness to the participants. So, does it mean i care more about the environment after this trip? Probably not... 3 hours into the climb i would probably have agreed to eat baby dolphin sandwiches if someone would just get me out of that mountain (i would even bludgeon the dolphin myself using mel garcia's cold dead body)

went to san luis with Dr. Eric for an ocular inspection of resorts to be used for the intro dive for friends later this week. it was a relaxing day of snorkeling and relaxing...

had to walk almost 2 hours because:

• could not find anyone who speaks english around tainan at 5am to get proper directions
• was too cheap to risk taking a cab to a place that could be on another city (they don't speak english too)
• bus and train station was closed at 5am
• while asking around for directions a taiwanese guy managed to say something that sounded like "20 minutes walk, then turn right" among all the mandarin stuff he said -that was good enough for me... so i walked.
• i was stupid
