Yahoo! News - Private U.S. Rocket Plane Soars Into Space
just a few minutes ago, SpaceShipOne punched beyond the earth's atmosphere to become the first privately funded spacecraft to successfully reach space. it should be landing at the mojave desert in a few min... another one for the history books and another step closer to the Ansari X-Prize.
