Catching the Eclipse
we tried to shoot the lunar eclipse... but with cloudy skies we ended up without a single shot of the eclipse. we tried to get over the disappointment with bbq at Mang Larry's, diner at banapple, a food break at eastwood, pies and wings at charlie's and finally a drink that should be named "komatsu" at waiying.

Out of Gas
embarrassingly ran out of gas while at the parking lot of SM San Lazaro... worse thing is, this was after the last full show -the mall was closed and we had to take the stairs going down the parking building (we were parked at the 5th level) and back up after getting gas.

When It's Just not Charlie's...
tried out Chicken Charlie at banawe... it was good, different and interesting (specially since it also shared the same name as our default chicken heaven)... but the Buffalo Wing's at Charlie's is simply in a different class altogether... the chicken by which all other chickens will be measured against... and this one doesn't even come close.
